Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend//27 to read <br />"That the proposed use will be harmonious with and in accordance with any specific objectives of <br />the Comprehensive Plan." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add a finding to read <br />"That current operating conditions are not in compliance with the conditional use permit in <br />existence". <br /> <br />Further discussion: Commissioner Terry stated that since no charges or complaints have been filed <br />by Staff against Mr. Karst, maybe he is not in violation of his existing CUP. Mr. Schroeder stated <br />that the proposal as is presented gives rise to the belief it is an improvement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend #20 to read <br />"That the proposed use will create additional requirements at public cost for public facilities and <br />services." <br /> <br />Further discussion: Ms. Frotik asked for clarification on "will create additional requirements...". <br />Commissioner Terry stated it pertains to the Police Officers going out on calls about the processing <br />plant. Ms. Frolik inquired if he felt another officer would have to be put on duty and ff not will it <br />really create additional requirements at public cost? <br /> <br />Motion fa/ted.
