The
report indiCateid ~aat ~laere was an anonymous call complaining that copper and other toxics were being burned
at Danny's Al~nu ,~:u The Police and Fire Chief went to the site and observed red hot material being brought
outside from ~th~rinsilte of the building. The odor was of rubber and plastic but no evidence of that could be
found. The ffi'g, ehi~f stayed at the site to handle the matter.

On August 8 Ii_~1~_ lex~ Danny Karst regarding the incident report. I admitted that I was not concerned with the
red hot material.~l~ein~ cool outside the building, as the conditional use permit issued by the City specifically
permits the e_C~P, .~do~ process outside the building. What concerned me was the odors. Mr. Karst stated that
the Fire Chief Md o~e other firefighter remained on the site for about another hour. Danny showed them a
complete eycl~ 0f m~ltflown; because of the high humidity that evening, there Was a good deal of steam
emitted; there- ~s n~ odor of plastic and rubber;, the ash was inspected and no evidence of copper, plastic,
rubber or m~lw .a:slfotmd Mr. Karst stated that he could present receipts proving that he ships wire off the
site and is not bOrnirig it.
