The <br />report indiCateid ~aat ~laere was an anonymous call complaining that copper and other toxics were being burned <br />at Danny's Al~nu ,~:u The Police and Fire Chief went to the site and observed red hot material being brought <br />outside from ~th~rinsilte of the building. The odor was of rubber and plastic but no evidence of that could be <br />found. The ffi'g, ehi~f stayed at the site to handle the matter. <br /> <br />On August 8 Ii_~1~_ lex~ Danny Karst regarding the incident report. I admitted that I was not concerned with the <br />red hot material.~l~ein~ cool outside the building, as the conditional use permit issued by the City specifically <br />permits the e_C~P, .~do~ process outside the building. What concerned me was the odors. Mr. Karst stated that <br />the Fire Chief Md o~e other firefighter remained on the site for about another hour. Danny showed them a <br />complete eycl~ 0f m~ltflown; because of the high humidity that evening, there Was a good deal of steam <br />emitted; there- ~s n~ odor of plastic and rubber;, the ash was inspected and no evidence of copper, plastic, <br />rubber or m~lw .a:slfotmd Mr. Karst stated that he could present receipts proving that he ships wire off the <br />site and is not bOrnirig it. <br /> <br /> <br />
