Upon a~rivai, I meet <br />the police squad which was already at the intersection of Basalt. <br />D~i~e~ ~uhn's and mysel~ proceeded to the ~ide entnance where we were <br />unable to gain a~ess due tDa i~ked gate. <br />outsi~e ~en~ed gate where we were able to visually notice that an <br /> <br />it t~ ~o~1 outside. I was positioned upwind and was not able <br />~ete~t and o~oK at that time. When the Asst. Chie~ aF~ived, the <br />poli~e ~+~i~eK cl~aFed and retunned to his vehicle. The Asst. Ohie~ <br />anU mysel~ weFe escoKted into Danny's Aluminum by the same employee <br />wh~ had been seen mem~ving the glowing ma~em~a). We examined <br />mateKial up ~l~se and did not ~ind any evidence <br />Polyvinyi Chloride (PVC) insulated materials. The night ~reman <br />joined us and we pKo~eeded to his o+~i~e wheKe he had spoken t~ Danny <br />and in~oKmed me that he would like +oK mysei~ t~ caii him be+oKe I had <br />le~t'hi~ business. I phoned Danny, howeveK h~s wi~e indicated that he <br />had already le~t and would be joining us very ~ho~tiy. The Asst. <br />Chie~ and mysel~ waited out in hi~ paPking lot +oK appKoximately lO -- <br />~5 minutes untill Danny aKKived. We discussed that the smoke we had <br />noticed was white and that the mateKial was glowing ~ed when it was <br />being bK~ught out to ~i. He e~:plained his complete pKo~e~s as well <br />as the di~epences in the CDIOK ~ the smoke that his ovens emit. He <br />in~Kmed us that he would be adding a~teK--burneKs and eliminating his <br />~urrent "bag h~use'~. Our discussion lasted app~:~imately two and one <br />hai~ hours. It is o~ my opinion, that in this pa~ti~ulaK instan~e~ I <br />~ul d n~t ident~y any smoke being dischaKged ~m Danny' s Aluminum <br />that would be different than that which w~uid have been discharged <br />during n~Kmal day to day opeKations.
