At that time, the area showed
promise for first class development. We were required to support that
prospect in our buitding program. I believe any of you familiar with our
building and grounds will agree that we continue to take pride in our
commercial property appearance.

What troubles us is the fact that the rules imposed upon our building
development plan have been continually relaxed and/or unenforced with
others in our area. The subsequent development has been a disappointment
to us and I should think to the people of Ramsay, Our view to the
northeast is that of the landfill, A number of parcels to the east seem to
be primarily outside storage for a variety of abandoned trucks, trailers
and other unused equipment and materials.

Now, the biggest concern we have is for the proposed concrete and asphalt
recycling facility. We are faced with the prospect of 35 foot high piles of
rubble, and an additional 55 trucks per day past our office door. Many of
these trucks will have smoking tar and at the very least will produce
intolerable noise and atmosphere for our company.

t might add that we donated property fOr the road to accommodate the
parceling of these properties to the east. The road was not needed for our
use, as we have frontage on Ramsey Boulevard. Now it appears as though
the use of this road may necessarily drive us out of our property.

m
m
m
m
m
m
m
m
m
m
m
m

We attended the public hearing on this issue where it became clear that
the Planning and Zoning Commission would like to see this conditional use
permit approved, without regard for prior codes and regulations, in order

m
m
