Page

July 30, 1992

to achieve rapid business development in Ramsey. One of the
commissione~rs r~tated that he not only approved of the 35 foot high piles
of rubble, t3~ w~shed the company had the capacity to make them higher.

Your actions ini this mat[er are of profound importance to the community
as they could :~ell restrict the future development of Ramsey to dumping
and storage :use!. Here, then, is what we seek in help from the Ramsey City
Council.

First of all,~ pl.~ase visit our area and see what variances to the code
and/or lack of !~nforcement have done to our neighborhood. Please also
consider the, irieverSible effects the proposed rubble storage yard would
have on the l. fUyre development of this area.

Finally, and imo,st important to our future here, please do not allow for the
use of 143rd A~,enue to become a major hauling route for heavy roughage.
If you muSl~ al!ow the conditional use permit for this property, please
require them'r to!provide other access.

Failing in youri help, we will likely be forced to sell our building on
Ramsey B0UleV~rd. You can well imagine that a prospective buyer will be
looking forl ~imi!ar variances that have been granted in the neighborhood.
This altern~fl, ve iwould be very painful to us and hopefully not in the best
interest of the icommunity.

CC:

Jim Gilbe~son
Glen Hardin
Gerald zimmerman
Shiela Bey~er

Sincerely, -.
Chris Soderhoim
