He stated that he would be in favor of waiving developing the cul-de-sac to <br />City standard~. H~ stated that based on the sketch plan for Trott Brook Estates, the plat east of the <br />Smith proport~,, lTlst Lane was intended to end in a cut-de-sac. <br /> <br />Ms. Yrolik r~lied ihat the cul-de-sac is not reflected on the half-section maps. <br />Mx. Smith sta~ed ~ere is a problem with the grade difference on his side of the property. There <br />would be a fine to ~;ix foot bank and in 100 feet, it would be about a seven or eight foot bank at the <br />end of the cul,de-sac. <br /> <br />Commissioner De,mcr stated he would prefer a dedicated street easement all the way across the <br />Smith propertj~ ra~her than a cul-de-sac so the street would not be a dead end. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith staled Il!at to the west of his property, the lots are extremely low and unbuildablc. <br /> - [ <br /> <br />Comrnission~ D~emer stated that the Commission should request the Smith's do a minor <br />subdivision ~ at ~he very minimum, construct a cul-de-sac to meet City standards. <br />The CommiSs!on f~roceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br />Ms. Frolik staied lliat #5 should be amended from Urban Area to Rural Area. <br />Motion by ~Om~Jssioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmcrman to delete the <br />present #6 fr0~ tl~¢ findings of fact and replace it with thc statements from ~'im Gromberg's memo <br />dated May 2B,i_199! and the ordinance included with the memo. <br />Motion carrj ~e~i,. ~Voting Yes: Chairman Hendriksen, Commissioners Deemer, Zimmerman, <br />Bawden and~'i'hon~.d.
