Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Terry. <br /> <br />I <br />1 <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that if the Smith's don't agree with the decision set down by the <br />Board of Adjustment, they can appeal to City Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer reiterated his feeling that the Smith's should apply for a minor subdivision <br />as opposed to this variance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Zimmennan to den), Tim and <br />Brenda Smith's rec~uest for a variance from the street frontage requirement. <br /> <br />Motion carded, Voting Yes: Chairman Hendriksen, Commissioners Deemer, Zimmerman and <br />Bawden. Absent: Commissioners LaDue and Terry. <br /> <br />Commissioner Th,,rud stated his reason for opposition is because there are other alternatives to a <br />variance. <br /> <br />Chairman I---Iendriksen explained the following options to the Smiths: 13 Appeal the decision to <br />City Council; 2) plan a minor subdivision with a cul-de-sac and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission can recommend waiving paving requirements; and 3) plan a minor subdivision and <br />dedicate a e. astjwest street easement through the parcel to be developed at a later date. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
