His <br /> property .is jU~[t to ihe west of Trott Brook Estates. <br /> <br /> Ms. Frolik $~ ted ~he Smith's have purchased property to build on and there is only 66 feet of <br /> frontage, ~, :ir Lq4uest for a variance was denied by the Board of Adjustment and the Board <br /> recomm~nd~ plug the property into a minor subdivision to provide for future street extension <br /> and park d~!j'~atio~ m return for the City waiving the paving requirement. <br /> Mr. JankoWSl i stated that the City also has an interest in extending the trail system through the <br /> Smith propea't r. ' <br /> <br /> Motion by C~un~member Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to deny the appeal <br /> and send: th~s ~ase~ back to the Planning and Zoning Commission for minor subdivision with an <br /> easement fo;: futu~e extension of 171st Lane N.W. and waiving the requirement to improve the <br /> road to City:s xds. ' <br /> <br /> r <br /> Further discussion[ Mr. Smith was asked his opinion of this option to which he replied he had no <br /> problem with It. <br /> <br /> Motion carrie& Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Bever and Hardin. <br /> Voting No: ~ane.!
