Councitmember inm:x:luced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-07-__ RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE AUTHORIZATION OF SPEED LIMITS FOR ROANOKE STREET N.W. BETWEEN 153RD AVENUE N.W. AND JUNIPER RIDGE DRIVE N.W. WHEREAS, on May 26, 1992 Ramsey City Council passed a resolution requesting the State Commissioner of Transportation perform an engineering study to determine the safe and reasonable speed for that section of Roanoke Street N.W. from 153rd Avenue N.W. to Juniper Ridge Drive N.W.; and WHEREAS, said study was completed and an appropriate speed limit of 40 mph has been authorized pursuant to Mn/DOT notice dated June 25, 1992. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby accepts the speed limit authorization of 40 mph for this segment of street. 2) That the City Administrator is hereby ordered to cause appropriate signage to be erected. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of July, 1992.
