CASE #/5 <br /> AI?PRECIATION PICNIC FOR STAFF VOLUNTEERS <br /> ~ ~ By: Penny Ott, Administrative Coordinator <br /> <br />Background:i <br /> <br />Some tim~ ago, it was suggested that a picnic be held in appreciation of Staffs efforts in <br />volunteeri.flg .fOr the various City sponsored events that were held in the spring (i.e. <br />EnvironmentalI Expo, Tree Sale, Arbor events, Clean-up Day, roadside pick-up, Bike <br />Road-eOahd l~et Clinic). Letters have been sent to those volunteering Staff members <br />thanking iffi, em ~or their efforts and telling them that information on the date and specifics of <br />the picnic ~vitl,tJe forthcoming. <br /> <br />Central Park hhs been suggested as the site of the picnic and a week night rather than <br />weekend idate s~ems preferred. City Council should discuss if the picnic will be potluck or <br />if the fo0diwill be provided by the City and on what date it will be held.
