On March 12, I992, the City received a revised sketch plan for Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds). On March 16, 1992, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the revised sketch plan which now contained 87 lots. The Commission recommended that the developer proceed to apply for preliminary plat approval. On April 3, 1992, the developer submitted a preliminary plat for Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds). Note that some park land was designated adjacent to the wetland. The plat still contained 87 lots. On April 9, 1992, the Park and Recreation Commission tabled action regarding review of Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds) for park dedication requirements. On April 23, 1992, the developer submitted a revised preliminary plat to the Park and Recreation Commission. This revised preliminary plat relocated the park land to the southeast portion of the plat which contained more desirable soils. The revised preliminary plat still contained 87 lots. The recommendation of the Park Commission was to increase the amount of park land to be dedicated and the balance of the park dedication requirements would be satisfied with a cash payment. On April 29, 1992, the developer submitted a revised preliminary plat which increased the amount of park land to be dedicated in accordance with the recommendation of the Park Commission. The plat now contains 85 lots. On May 5, 1992, the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing and recommended preliminary plat approval of Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds) contingent upon compliance with City Staff review letter dated April 29, 1992. On May 26, 1992, the City Council granted preliminary plat approval to Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds).
