In designing the plat, it became evident that the southeastern <br />area would be ~6~re ~orkable with the acquisition of a small piece of the adjacent property from Robert <br />Bernstrom. Ro~ B~rnstrom is proposing to sell the remainder of his parcel to Lord of Life in the near <br />future so that th~: ~hUr~h will gain some additional frontag~ on Nowthen Blvd. Robert Bernstrom agreed <br />to a portion.of~!s pxtoperty being platted into Fleischer s 2nd Additi_o,n_ in exchange for Outlot B of <br />Fleischer's Adfl½t~nl IWith the acquisition of Outlot B, Mr. Bernstrom s parcel would gain additional <br />frontage on NOW[hen Blvd. N.W. and make it even more desirable for the church's purposes. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The parcel to b~ ~ .~ qu~ed from Robert Bernstrom for inclusion in Fleischer's 2nd Addition is zoned R-3 <br />Urban Resident~ an~ needs to be rezoned to R-1 Urban Residential for development with single family <br />urban residentia! l~ts~i ~rhe outlot to be conveyed to Robert Bernstrom for combination with his existing R- <br />3 Urban Residonfi~d 10lis zoned R-1 Urban Residential, Mr. Bernstrom would like the outlot rezoned to R- <br />3 Urban residential t°!~atch the zoning of his existing parcel. <br />The following itertis are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br /> a) Site 1 tio~'?O map depicting proposed rezonings <br /> Proposed fgadings of fact <br /> c) PropOsed O~dinance <br /> <br />The Planning andtZomng Comm~ssmn conducted a public hearing on May 5, 1992 and recommended <br />approval of the Pr~pos~Ft rezoning. <br />Recommen dat|o~a: <br /> <br />The Planning and ~.oni~g Commission and City Staff recommend approval of the proposed <br /> rezonings. <br /> <br /> Council Act~Dn: <br /> <br /> Motion to: <br /> Recommend ~t City Council adopt the proposed findings of fact relating to a request for rezoning by <br /> North Suburbafi De~velopment Company, Doloras Fleischer and Robert Bernstrom. <br /> <br /> -and- <br /> <br /> Motion to: <br /> Recommend tfi, at Qity Council adopt an ordinance approving the request for rezoning from North <br /> Suburban Dev~op~ent Company, Doloras Fleischer and Robert Bernstrom. <br /> <br />Review Checklist; <br /> <br />CC: 5/26/92 <br /> <br />gPolanning &.
