Water Connections Prohibited <br />ia. ~o more than one house or building or in the case of townhouses, <br />One unit, shall be supplied from one water service pipe except by <br />~ ~pecial permission of the City. Whenever two or more parties are <br />? bupplied from one pipe connecting with the distribution main, <br />~ach building or part of the building must have a separate stop box <br />at the curb. <br /> <br />ih. No water pipe of the municipal water system shall be Connected <br /> ~vith any pump, well pipe or tank that is connected with any <br /> fsource other than the City water system. When such are found, <br /> ~he City shall notify the customer to disconnect same, and if not <br /> ~lone immediately, the City water supply shall be turned off. <br /> <br />ic. ~ny customer of the City that desires to use the resident's own <br /> ~vell system in conjunction with use of City water, that well <br /> ~ystem must be completely disconnected from the City water and <br /> ~ewer utilities. Said well system shall only supply spigots located <br /> bn the outside of the residence or building or to yard hydrants. <br /> ~Vater obtained from those spigots shall only be used for watering <br /> lawns, gardens and shrubs, washing cars and other such uses <br /> : .~nd only in such a manner that none of the drainage from such <br /> (use goes into the City sewer system. <br /> <br />ISubd. 9. Mnlntennrlee <br />~Th~ service pipe to the stop box (curb stop) and the connection thereto <br />isha~l be the property of the customer and must be protected and <br />~ma~ntained by the customer. In the event such customer shall fail to <br />Imake necessary repairs to such service connection or pipe within <br />Itwenty-four (24) hours after being notified by the City to do so, the City <br />ishail make such repairs and the cost thereof shall be charged to the <br />~u$~omer and shall be collected in the same manner as other bills for <br />Nva~er consumption are collected. <br /> <br />P~,e7 <br /> <br /> <br />
