CounCilm¢ mbe~' adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its ~9~ RESOLUTION g92-05- RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING PAUL REIFENBERGER, PRINCIPAL OF RAMSE¥ EI~EMENTARY SCHOOL WHEREAS, Paul Reifenberger was Ramsey Elementary School's first Principal in 1975 anti ha~ been their only Principal for the past 18 years; and WHEREAS, prior to Ramsey Elementary School, Mr. Reifenberger was Principal ~ Fra, nklin Elementary School in Anoka and has taught in several other schools, totahng 33~yea~s m educauon; and W}IEREAS, during Mr. Reifenberger's tenure at Ramsey Elementary School, the populatiO~gr~wth and subsequent school enrollment in the City of Ramsey has been substantial~ and WHEREAS, among other programs, Mr. Reifenberger established and developed one of Sctlool iDistrict #1 l's first community school programs and was instrumental in developing one!of the strongest parent volunteer programs in the District; and W~IEI~.EAS, Mr. Reifenberger has actively volunteered for and supported communir! acti~vities in Ramsey. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O'.? RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Th4t the Ramsey City Council hereby appreciates and recognizes the efforts and contributions :df Paul Reifenberger to the community of Ramsey during his tenure as Principal o~' thelRamsey Elementary School. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Coun¢ilmehabe~ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: : and the foliowi~g voted against the same: and the follOwing abstained: and tlxe fol[owigg were absent: whereupon sai~l resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City CounCil thins th~26th day of May, 1992.
