Councilmeml~.r introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: , ; RESOLUTION #92-04- RESOLUTION iCERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 6t92-14 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF WACO STREET N.W. AND WACO DRIVE N.W. FROM 179TH LANE NW TO THE NORTHERN CITY BOUNDARY) WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement 0f bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to the nOrthern City boundary; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signa~ure~ of affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter an~ Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CouNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AINOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a ~_ertain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of bituminous Surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to thein~)rthdm City boundary has been filed with the City Council on April 28, 1992. The petitioniis hgreby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners.: Thi~ declaration is made in conformity to Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 and Minnasota Statutes Chapter 429. 2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prep_~.e alfeasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Coun~[in a [preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cos6 of !he project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also commerlt as~to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improCement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project # 92- 14. The motion for the a~loption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ,, .
