Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing individual <br />lots or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1) exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property and <br />thirty-two (32) square feet for non-residential property; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts (Exception: An additional "open House" sign may be <br />used); <br /> <br />4) to he removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or sale. <br /> <br /> 5) Lease signs are restricted to wall or window signs. <br /> <br />Subd. 6 PO~able Signs are permitted only in business and industrial type districts and are <br /> sui: ect to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for <br /> ,-pot able signs shall be allowed for ten (10) day periods, four (4) times a year per <br /> ! bu.~iness. However, where more than one (1) proprietorship or business uses the <br /> ~ sante building or parcel, no more than one (1) portable sign device shall be in place <br /> ~ at ~hy one time. <br /> <br />Subd. 7 Pulflic Event Signs may be erected and maintained for a period not to exceed <br /> ! thir :y (30) days prior to the date on which the event is scheduled to occur and shall <br /> !be:.~emoved within forty-eight (48) hours of the termination of said event. Number, <br /> : fio~ILtion and size of said public event signs shall be subject to the approval of the <br /> CZofling Administrator with consideration given to the public safety and the signage <br /> I rea~onably necessary and appropriate for the intended purpose. <br />9. 2.06 m Ta CT REGULATIONS <br />In addiuon t;o~those signs permitted or required in all districts as described in Section 9.12.03 <br />(General .P~oV[SiO4s) and 9.12.05 (Temporary Signs), the following signs are permitted in each <br />specific di$0'i~t ~a~d shall be regulated as to size, location and character according to the <br />requirements l~ere~fi, set forth. <br />9.12.07 iRE$IDENTIAL TYPE DISTRICTS <br /> <br />Subd. 1 ~re~ Identification Signs. One (1) sign per vehicular access to a development, <br /> ~ot tO exceed thirty-two (32) square feet in area is permitted. <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Signs.
