Councilmemberi <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-02- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE iWORKER GREGG BELSAAS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS3 Gregg Belsaas began employment at the City of Ramsey on August 19, <br />1991 as Public Worlds Maintenance Worker in salary grade 2, with an annual salary of $18,591; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen, Mr. Belsaas' immediate <br />supervisor, has:.givcn a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Belsaas, with <br />agreement of Ci!y Engineer Steve Jankowski, and recommended retaining Mr. Belsaas at the City <br />of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and <br /> <br /> WHERiEA',S, City Administrator Ryan Schroeder is in agreement with the <br />recommendatior~ of Mr. Mevissen and Mr. Jankowski; and <br /> <br /> WHER,EAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and, as Mr. <br />Belsaas was hirgd at the six-month rate (90%) of salary grade 2 with the agreement that there <br />would be no inc~aseiuntil completion of 2,080 hours, there will be no increase in annual salary at <br />this time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,! the Personnel Committee, at their February 12, 1992 meeting, agreed with <br />the recommend&ion of staff to retain Mr. Belsaas as a regular full-time employee effective <br />February 19, 1992. <br /> ! : <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY,': ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committle toiend the probationary period for Gregg Belsaas and change in status to full- <br />time regular ehaployee effective February 19, 1992. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember ' and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of Febru'.ary, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
