FORMAT <br /> <br />Two documents are required: A, the Proposal and B. the resume of the Prooram Manager, <br /> <br />The proposal format is designed to provicte concise ~ormatior~ It begins with a brief narrative, <br />followed by: a breakdown of the proposal m specific objectives, a budget for each objective, an <br />assoc~ed two-year tirnetme indicating wl3en specific producm will 13¢ produced, and a statement of <br />associated benefits from coml:~etior[ <br /> <br />The proposal must be placed into a target context. Explain the significance of the project related to the <br />issue and other work in this area. Explain, precisely and concisely, how the proposal addresses a <br />prior~ strategy, Do not simply repeat the strategy, <br /> <br />If the project exceeds two years, eXplain the additional time and funding requirements and how it is <br />intended tt-,at tine pro/ect will be completed. <br /> <br />'lhe LCMR funding ~s not to supplant or provide existing operation and maintenance funding. <br /> <br />A. PROPOSAL - Send 3 copies of one single sided page in horizontal, 8 1/2 x 14 inch wide sheets, <br /> <br />The proposal must be in the following format and ks limited to one single sided p~e as shown on the <br />enclosed blank sample format, To achieve the B 1/2 x 14 'form": Place two 8 1/2 inch sheets side by <br />side and reduce (photocopy) to fit on a 8 1/2 x 14 ' sheet. Minimum type size is 10 points on the <br />submitted version. NARRATIVE (Project Summary): Provide'a clear, concise summary_of the proposed project. The narrative <br />ix limited to 30 words. The narrative alone must be a free ~anding summation O['the prelect. <br />It is important that the narrative be able to stand on its own as a description of the objectives of the proposal <br />because the narrative }*,ill be used as the project summary during the proposal review. <br /> <br />I!.
