d) <br /> <br />The applicant, Sauter & Sons should consult area businesses such as Mate Punch and Die, <br />Ramsey Athletic Club, CAPCO, ParaBody and Waltek who have substantial investments in <br />their facilities and their feed back is important as the City can ill afford to lose those types of <br />businesses. <br /> <br />e) The amount of noise created as this will affect the new subdivisions being developed directly to <br /> the east of this facility and the existing subdivisions to the north. <br /> <br />The EDC does recognize that owners of property do need to gain value from holding property. <br />However, gaining a return on their investment needs coordination with the area businesses as we <br />do not want to create a situation that we are encouraging growth and by the same token <br />discouraging other businesses from locating in the same area or continuing to locate in the area. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Nelson that Sauter & Sons should <br />supply the above requested additional information at which time the Economic Development <br />Commission would review the proposal and in its entirety to either support or recommend denial of <br />the proposed use of the site. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Nelson, Fults, Gorecki and <br />Vevea. Voting No: None. Abstaining: Commissioner Greenberg.
