Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Request for Metes and Bounds Subdivision; Case of Walter <br /> Scroggins <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Mr. Walter Scroggins is requesting a metes and bounds <br />subdivision to split off a five acre homestead from his 49 acre parcel located at the southeast <br />intersection of 153rd Avenue N.W. and Sunfish Lake boulevard N.W. He would sell off the <br />remaining 44 acres to a potential developer for platting. Mr. Scroggins health is such that to <br />require platting at this point would be a hardship for him. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adopt Resolution <br />#92-08-191 granting approval of a metes and bounds subdivision for Mr. Walter S croggins. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Vodng Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, Hardin and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Policy for Assisting Individuals with Hookup Charges to Water and <br /> Sewer Utilities Receiving Availability from Subdivision Extensions <br /> <br />Upon review of the policy for assisting individuals with hookup charges to water and sewer <br />utilities, Councilmember Beyer suggested inserting language pursuant to Chapter 429 and also that <br />the interest rare has to be at a rate agreed upon by the property owner and the Finance Officer. <br /> <br />Council directed City En~neer Jankowsld to research whether or not to amend the ordinance to <br />give an extension to a property owner who has just spent a significant amount of money on a septic <br />system. This amended policy will be brought back for Council review. <br /> <br />Case ,gg: Policy of Septic System Repair <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to adopt the policy <br />on septic system repair. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Peterson, Hardin, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: 1992 Business Expo <br /> <br />Alice Schroeder of the Economic Development Commission was present to request a donation of <br />$2,000 from the City. These funds will be used for advertising and promoting the 1992 Business <br />Expo. Unexpended funds will be returned to the City.
