PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey ~jty i(~ouncil conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Ccriter; 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Improvement <br />Project g92'02[- W hire Pines Estates. <br /> r <br />Members Present: i Mayor James Gitbertson <br /> Councilmember Glen Hardin <br /> Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members AbSent: <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />City Adminisn'ator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbert~pn c'.alled the public hearing to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> [ <br /> <br />City Engineor ~ankP~ wski stated that WMte Pines was built ~n 1988 and Brookv~ew was bmlt ~n <br />1979. The streets Here sealcoated in 1984. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $17,402 <br />and with 62,Udits the cost per unit would be $140. He added that on this particular subdivision, <br />~here is a co~si~ler~§le area with very tight alligatoring on it and sealcoating will benefit this. <br />CITIZEN IN~PUT <br />A resMent pos ~0~! aquestlon regarding the undeveloped properties as they are not assessed but they <br />benefit by the i~prdvement. <br /> <br />Mr. Janko ski fstat0d that he would discuss the issue of how tO assess the undeveloped property at <br />the next Road ~and[Bridge Committee meeting. When it is determined how the undeveloped <br />property will ~ assessed, an adjustment will be made in the rate of the per unit assessment.. <br />ADJOURNE~ <br />Motion by Coancflmember Hardin and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman. ~oting No: None.
