I would like to be considered for the <br />open seat on the committee. I feel I have a lot to offer and <br />would be a productive addition to the committee. <br /> <br />My background gives me qualifications upon which I could draw and <br />assist the committee in its work. I graduated from Macalester <br />College in 1981 and have degrees in economics and political <br />science. I received my law degree from Hamline University of <br />Law, and since that time have been practicing in Anoka County. <br />Currently, I am working primarily in the area of governmental <br />law, and I have been an assistant city attorney for both the <br />cities of Fridley and St. Francis. <br /> <br />While I am new to the city, I been a lifelong resident of Anoka <br />County and I am strongly interested in being involved with the <br />city government. I believe the direction of economic growth in <br />the city of Ramsey over the next few years will dictate the <br />city's character.
