INNOVATIVE BIKEWAY/WALKWAY PROJECTS <br /> <br />This category is[intgnded to encourage innovative ideas to increase the amount, safety and enjoyment <br />of bicycle and Walk trips. As can be seen below, the criteria are very broad so as to give new ideas <br />an opportunityl fo[: funding. Examples of such projects may include publishing maps of good <br />commuter bicyCte dir walk routes in a city or county, signing of such routes, safety education projects, <br />development of[bi~qe or pedestrian friendly zones, use of special traffic signal actuating devises, etc <br />New relatlonsMl~$ between government umts or w~th the private sector may be an avenue to pursue. <br />These examples shOUld not be thought of as a comprehensive hst of projects. <br /> <br />Priority Criteria/In2Povative Projects <br /> <br />Points <br /> <br />400 1t.
