~ R~quest for Final Plat Approval of Ramsey Meadows; Case of <br />Case #6: ~ G|lbert Menkveld <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the approved preliminary plat of Ramsey Meadows <br />consisted of 29.~ acres to be subdivided into approximately 30 single family lots. At this time, <br />Mr. Menkveld is ~'oposing to final plat just five of the lots as a fa'st phase of Ramsey Meadows. <br />City Engineer Ja/!kowski stated that Mr. Trowbridge, owner of the parcel outside of Ramsey <br />Meadows, wa~ 1: esent. Mr. Jankowski stated that Mr. Trowbridge should be aware that the City <br />has an ordinafl¢, iwhich requires connection of City services within two years after it becomes <br />available. ~, '] Owbridge should also be aware that he'd have to pay the trunk charge, S.A.C. <br />and W.A.C. cleat es and whatever plumbing changes are necessary. The Development Agreement <br />will be wordex~ s':h that the Developer will pay for all improvements in the street and there will be <br />no cost to Mr; ~ iwbridge associated with that work. <br /> <br />Mr. Trowbridge ~tated that he just spent $3,000 a couple years ago to upgrade his septic system <br />and this Pending )Onnection requirement would put a financial burden on him. He requested an <br />extension unti~ith~ homes to the west of his were required to hook up to City services. <br /> <br />Motion by Co,nc member Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#92-06-158 gr~inti g final plat approval to Ramsey Meadows based on a sheet drawn by Caine and <br />Associates m¢~iw I by the City on June 23, 1992 and contingent upon City Staff letter dated June <br />17, 1992. Jack Menkveld is requesting final plat approval of the <br />first phase of Sgnfiy Ponds (aka Fleischer s 2nd Addition). <br />Motion by CO~ne, ilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution g9~06-i159 granting final plat approval to Sunny Ponds based on a sheet drawn by <br />Caine and Assc~ia~es received by the City on June 23, 1992 and contingent upon compliance with <br />C~ty Staff revi¢¢., letter dated June 17, 1992· - <br /> <br />Motion carried.! Voti~g No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: /~ward Engineering Contract for Services Relating to Sunny Ponds <br /> Adiiltion (Previously Fleischer's 2nd Addition) <br /> <br />City Engineer JankOwski stated that City Council was informed that the developers of Sunny <br />Ponds Addition ~al(~'~a. Flesicher's 2nd Addition) wanted to proceed with final platting of a portion of <br /> · i ~ · · · <br />the previously gppr. oved prehmmary plat. Mr. Jankowsk~ stated he sent request for proposals to <br />five metropolit. ~ ~hgineering firms who had expressed a desire to provide service to the City of <br />Ramsey and re~i~ed proposals from all five. He stated his request for proposal did not include <br />Erkium StreetN.W~ to the park. Mr. Jankowski asked Council to allow him the ability to <br />negotiate adjustments with the firm awarded the bid with regard to the additional work.
