PROFOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO WOODLAND GREEN <br /> <br />CASE <br />PARK <br /> <br />#1 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Eight residents attended the Joint City Council and Park and Recreation Commission <br />meeting in!JuiCe to request development of park property west of Roanoke Street N.W. and <br />across fro~ l~Sth Lane N.W. The focus of their request appeared to be: 1) a playfield <br />without sa~ld~rrs and 2) play equipment. <br /> <br />City Staff[mailed the affected/benefitting residents, adjacent to the park areas, a letter <br />proposingi:deyelopment of a trail through Woodland Green Park, thereby providing <br />improved i3c~ss to the park which contains basic play equipment and a lesser quality <br />playfield.
