Neu, Jr. <br />February 4, 2004 <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />On February 2-3, 2004, the seven members of Council and eleven members of the <br />Management Team from the City of Ramsey participated in a City Leadership <br />Workshop. A copy of the workshop objectives and agenda are included as <br />Appendix A to this report. <br /> <br />KEY OBSERVATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS REACHED BY THE <br />PARTICIPANTS. <br /> <br />A. Leadership Vision and Strategic Focus Areas <br /> <br />1. The Visioning Process <br /> <br />The first step in the Strategic Leadership and Goal-Setting Process <br />is to establish a strategic vision for the community constructed <br />from the individual visions council and staffmembers have for <br />their city. Council and staff members were asked to conduct a <br />personal imaginary tour of the City of Ramsey as they desire it to <br />exist in the year 2025, After these individual visions were <br />completed, each participant provided a detailed "guided tour" <br />through Ramsey as he/she sees it in 2025. <br /> <br />a.
