Establishing the Appropriate Forums for Exploration and Analysis and <br />Consideration of Options. <br /> <br />During the workshop, the facilitator provided an overview of the various <br />arenas in which councils operate. Given the complex nature of the goals <br />proposed, it is recommended that council and the management team <br />explore carefully the need for work sessions and goal-setting sessions <br />necessary to ensure a thorough dialogue within council and between <br />council and staff on how goals will be achieved. This may result in <br />having more regularly-scheduled work sessions devoted to specific goals <br />and implementation efforts and occasional mini-retreats where council and <br />staff can engage in open-ended dialogues about how to tackle issues <br />related to implementation of goals. A good example of this will be the <br />development of the plan for the land outside of the 2020 MUSA. (See <br />Goal No. 3). <br /> <br />l0 <br /> <br /> <br />
