No illuminated sign on the grounds, buildings or in windows <br /> ~whj{h changes in either color or intensity of light shall be pe~itted, except one <br /> [gi~ihg public se~ice information such as time, date, temperature, weather or <br /> .~iffi~ info~ation. The city zoning officer in ~anting pe~its for illuminated <br /> ~sigfi~ shall specify the hours during which the same may be kept lighted .when <br /> ~ne~ss~ to prevent the creation of a nuisance. There shall be no use of revolving <br /> ~efl~ons, zip flashers or simil~ devices which cause any of the sources of light to <br /> eha~ge in intensity, unless as noted above. <br /> <br />7 ~ln$~itutional and Recreational Identification Sign. One wall and/or <br /> ~O0nd sign shall be pe~itted to identify the civic, philanthropic, educational, <br /> public or religious organization or recreational use occupying the premises. The <br /> :o~bined ~oss ~ea of institutional wall and ~ound signs shall not exceed eighty <br /> 'SQ)~squ~e feet. Any publicly oxvned and/or operated facility having <br /> [md~e than one point of entrance may erect secondary identification <br /> :?ig~s not exceeding 40 square feet at the additional entrance points. <br /> <br />Sign Ord.
