Frolik; . <br /> <br />Frolik <br /> <br />7/23/92 <br /> <br />7/23/92 <br /> <br />The P&Z Commission reviewed the findings of fact for <br />Bury and Carlson and suggested the following <br />amendments: #19: "That the proposed use will not be <br />unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental . . ." #20: <br />"That the proposed use will be harmonious with and in <br />accordance with the specific objectives . . ." #21: "That <br />the proposed use will be designed, operated and <br />maintained so as to be harmonious and appropriate in <br />appearance with the existing character of the general <br />vicinity and such use will not change the essential <br />character of the area", fl22: "That the proposed use will <br />be a substantial improvement to the property in the <br />immediale vicinity and to the community as a whole". <br />#23: "That the proposed use will be served adequately <br />by essential public facilities and services . . ." #24: <br />"That the proposed use will not create excessive <br />addilional requirements at public cost for public <br />facilities and services and it will not be detrimental to <br />the economic welfare of the community". #25: "That the <br />proposed use will not involve uses, activities, processes, <br />materials, equipment and conditions " Add #26: <br />"That eight members of City Staff, City Council and <br />Planning and Zoning commission toured the two facilities <br />owned and operated by Bury and Carlson and that pictures <br />of the sites are available. Add #27: "That a letter of <br />opposition to the Bury and Carlson operation was <br />submitted by Mr. Al Phillips of Altron. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend <br />to City Council to adopt Findings of Fact, as amended, <br />relating to Bury and Carlson's request for a conditional <br />use permit to establish a processing facility for <br />demolition cement and asphalt in the BW District. <br /> <br />C <br /> <br /> <br />
