§ 7.53 <br /> <br />such a request is made in writing to the clerk a hearing shall be granted within 10 <br />days or such longer period as may be requested. Any suspension under this <br />paragraph shall continue until the city council determines that the financial <br />responsibility requirements of this subsection have again been met. <br /> <br />7.53.18 License year. An "off sale" license expires June 30 of the follo~-ing <br />year of its effective date. The fee for an "off sale" license granted after the <br />commencement of the license year shall be prorated on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />7.53.19 Enlargement, alterations, or extension of premises. Proposed <br />enlargement, alteration or extension of premises previously licensed shall be <br />reported to the City Administrator at or before the time the application is made for <br />a building permit for any such change and the licensee shall also give such <br />information as is required by §7.53.05. <br /> <br />7.53-20 Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this subsection is guilty <br />of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than <br />$700.00 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days or both. <br /> <br />l~i~torica~ Note <br /> <br />Established by Ord. 78-2, May 22, 1978 <br /> <br /> Ord. 78-4 amends §7.53.10, (ineligibility for <br />license) by deleting Subd. 8, which prohibited <br />"off-sale" licenses from being granted to any <br />premises within 1,200 feet of an existing "on- <br />sale" establishment. <br /> <br /> Ord. 79-8 amends §7.53.10, Subd. 5 by <br />chan~ing ~the building requirements for <br />ground level floor space and basement storage <br />space from a minimum of 3,000 square feet <br />each to a minimum of 2,000 square feet each, <br />and adding the provision that these areas must <br />be devoted exclusively to the use of the off-saJe <br />liquor establishment. <br /> <br /> Ord. 80-2 amends §7.53.14, hours of operation <br />by changing the weekday closing time for "off- <br />sale" from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and adding <br />a provision that: No "on-sale" shall be made <br />between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., on <br />any weekday. <br /> <br /> Ord. 84-9 amends §7.53.14 by removing the <br />prohibition against selling intoxicating liquor <br />on statewide election days, and deleting the <br />precribed hours for "on-sale". <br /> <br /> Ord. 88-12 amends §~.53.0., Subd. 5 by <br />increasing the maximum number of "off-sale" <br />licenses the CiW may issue from 2 to 3. <br /> <br />7.61 <br /> <br />Charitable g~mbling. <br /> <br />7.61.01 In general.
