9.21.23 B-3 Highway Business District. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent: The purpose of the B-3, Highway Business District is <br />to provide for and limit the establishment of motor vehicle oriented or dependent and convenience <br />type, high intensity commercial and service activities characteristically located along major traffic <br />carriers. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Permitted Uses: (Subject to general requirements and performance <br />standards as specified by this Chapter.) <br /> <br /> a. Restaurants, cafes, on and off-sale liquor. <br /> <br /> b. Private clubs or lodges serving food and beverages. <br /> <br /> c. Commercial recreational uses. <br /> <br /> d. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures. <br /> <br /> e. Motels, motor hotels and hotels provided that the lot area contains not less <br /> than 500 square feet of lot area per unit, <br /> <br /> f. Motor vehicle, implement, and recreation equipment sales and service <br /> <br /> g. Adult uses-principal and adult uses-accessory. <br /> <br /> h. ^ ................... Accessory Uses: <br /> <br />operations with <br /> <br />Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use accessory to the <br />principal use but such use shall not exceed 30% of the goss floor space of the <br />principal use unless otherwise approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Open and outdoor storage (not to exceed 10% of the parcel <br />area), open and outdoor service, sales, display or rental as a <br />~, ...... v ..... provided that: <br /> <br />The area is fenced and screened from view from the public right-of-way <br />and any abutting residential uses or districts <br /> <br />2.
