ORDINANCE g92- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER <br />IS KOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER <br />OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />9.02 Definitions <br /> <br />The following definitions are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Lot, minimum area of: The surface of a lot computed exclusive of any portion of the right- <br />of-way of any public street or thoroughfare for all commercial and industrial lots and all <br />residential tots. <br /> <br />Parcel: A lot of record with the surface area of same computed based on measurements <br />from property line to property line, exclusive of any portion of the right-of-way of any <br />public street or thoroughfare. <br /> <br />9.21.23 B-3 Highway Business District <br /> <br />Section 9.21.23 is hereby repealed and amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Intent: The purpose of the B-3, Highway Business <br />District is to provide for and limit the establishment of motor vehicle oriented or dependent <br />and convenience type, high intensity commercial and service activities characteristically <br />located along major traffic carriers. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Permitted Uses: (Subject to Standards established in Subd. <br />4 and Performance Standards established in Section 9.10) <br /> <br /> a. Restaurants. cafes, on and off-sale liquor. <br /> <br /> b. Private clubs or lodges serving food and beverages. <br /> <br /> c. Commercial recreational uses. <br /> <br /> d. Governmental and public utility buildings and structures. <br /> <br /> e. Motels, motor hotels and hotels provided that the lot area contains not <br /> less than 500 square feet of tot area per unit. <br /> <br /> f. Motor vehicle, implement, and recreation equipment sales and service. <br /> <br /> o Adult uses-principal and adult uses-accessory. <br /> <br />h. Enclosed retail sales and rental activity. <br /> <br /> <br />
