RESOLUTION NO. ~ CITY OF RAMSEY WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the 10th day of July, 1978, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed bituminous surfacing improvement of all the streets in the plat of Menkveld's Country Park and specifically the following streets in Menkveld's Country Park: 163rd Lane N.W. 164th Lane N.W. Wolfram Street N.W. Uranium Street N.W. AND, ~.REAS, ten (10) days' published notice of the hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the rec~4 red notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 25th day of July, 1978, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: 1. Such bituminous surfacing is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted the 10th day of July, 1978. 2. Consulting Engine, s-rs Diversified, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. This company shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improv~ent. 3. The city clerk/treasurer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the city's official newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under approved plans and specifications. The advertisement 'shall be published for three (3) weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the city clerk/treasurer until 10:00 a.m. on August , 1978 at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the City Hall by the city clerk/treasurer and engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.m., on August , 1978 in the council chambers. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the clerk/treasurer and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City for ten (10) per cent of the amunt of each bid.
