RESO~ON NO. ~ /~ C'~ OF P~S~ WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the 10th day of July, 1978, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed bituminous surfacing improveuent of the following streets which are located in the East 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 15, Township 32, Range 25 smd the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 10, Township 32, Range 25, and specifically the following streets located in these sections: 1) 164th Lane N.W., lying between Yttrium Street on the east and Azurite Street on the West 2) 162nd Avenue lying between Yttrium Street N.W, on the East and Azurite Street on the West 3) 166th Lane N.W. lying between Yttrium Street N.W. on the East and Zirconium Street N.W. on the West 4) Azurite Street lying between County State Aid No. 5 {Nowthen Blvd. N.W. ) on the South and 164th I~ne N.W. on the North 5) Zirconium Street N.W. lying between 162nd Avenue on the South and 166th Lane N.W. on the North 6) Yttrium Street N.W. lying between 162nd Avenue on the South and 167th Avenue N.W. on the North AND, WHEREAS, ten (10) days' published notice of the hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 25th day of July, 1978 at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFOr, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMS~, _MINNESOTA: 1. Such bituminous surfacing is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted the 10th day of July, 1978. 2. Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. This company shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such inprovement. 3. The city clerk/treasurer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the city's official newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published! for three (3) weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the city clerk/treasurer until 10:00 a.m., on August , 1978 at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the City Hall by the city clerk/treasurer and engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.m., on August , 1978 in the council chambers. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the city clerk/treasurer and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City for ten (10) per cent of the amount of each bid.
