RESOLUTION NO~ ~$ <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> V'~EREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the 10th day of July, 1978, <br />fixed, a date for a council hearing on the proposed bituminous surfacing improvement <br />of all the streets in the plat of Whispering Pines Estates and specifically the <br />following streets in Whispering Pines Estates: <br /> <br />154th Avenue N.W. <br />153rd Lane N.W. <br />154th Lane N.W. <br />155th Lane N.W. <br />156th Lane N.W. <br />Okapi Street N.W. <br />Nutria Street N.W. <br />Marmoset Street N.W. <br />Kangaroo Street N.W. <br />Jackel Street N.W. <br />Iguana Street N.W. <br /> <br /> AND, W~K~AS, ten (10) days' published notice of the hearing through two (2) <br />weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon <br />on the 25th day of July, 1978 at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AiI~NESOTA: <br /> <br /> 1. Such bituminous surfacing is hereby ordered as proposed in the council <br />resolution adopted the 10th day of July, 1978. <br /> <br /> 2. Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc., is hereby designated as the engineer <br />for this improvement. This company shall prepare plans and specifications for the <br />making of such improvement. <br /> <br /> 3. The city clerk/treasurer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the city's <br />official newspaper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three (3) <br />weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the <br />city clerk/treasurer until 10:00 a.m., on August 28 , 1978 at which time .they will be <br />publicly opened in the council chambers of the City Hall by the city clerk/treasurer <br />and. engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.m., <br />on August 28 , 1978 in the council chambers. No bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the clerk/treasurer and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, <br />bid bond or certified check payable to the City for ten (10) per cent of the amount of <br />each bid. <br /> <br />DATED this 2nd <br /> <br />day of AUg. , 1978. <br /> <br /> <br />
