RESOLUTION NO. 23 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING <br /> PREPARATION OF REPORT AND SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of <br /> <br />Itasca Heights <br /> <br />filed with the Council on August 28, 1978. <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners <br />of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. <br /> <br /> 2. The petition is hereby referred to Consulting Engineers <br />Diversified and they are instructed to report to the Council with <br />all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it <br />should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br /> 3. The Council has previously ordered a preliminary feasibility <br />report from Consulting Engineers Diversified and held a duly noticed <br />public hearing on September 5, 1978 on the proposed improvements. <br /> <br /> 4. A formal public hearing shall be held on such proposed <br />improvement on the twenty-fifth day of September, 1978 in the Council <br />chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m., and the City staff shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required <br />by law. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 5th day of September, 1978. <br /> <br /> Mayo r · <br /> <br /> <br />
