J~nua_~jr 20, 1975 Mr.-M~~-~n moved we adopt the resolution be it resolved, that pursuant to statutory authority, the municipal engineer for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey is hereby authorized to request and obtain from the ~nnesota Department of High- ways, needed engineering aud-technical services during the year of 1975~ for which payment will be made by the city upon receipt of verified claims from the Co.mmissioner of Highways, and the MSA resolution for our highways No. 7A-31. Seconded by Mr. Reimann. Notion carried unanimously. ~,~r,~q~-e4~se~moved the City Engineer may not commit the City for charges for engineering and technical services from the F~nnesota Highway Department except upon prior authorization by the City Council. Seconded by ~Mr. Reimann. Motion carried unanimously. ~' ~ ~ -Mr~,..~-Mi¢~e~l~umoved be it resolved that pursuant to Section 161.36, Subdivision i through 6, Minnesota Statutes 1971, the Commissioner. of .Highways be appointed as agent of the City of Ramsey to let as its agent, contracts.for the construction of. portions of Munic- ipal Streets, for the year 1975, and the Mayor ~ud the Clerk are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City Council to execute and enter into a contract ~th the Comm~ssion- er of Highways prescribing the terms and conditions of such con- tracts in the fo..~n as set forth and contained in "},~nnesota De- partment of Highways Agency Contract Form No.'3077b, a copy of which said form was before the Council., ass~uming on behalf of the City all of the contractual-obligations therein contained.
