-6_ c o~/~8/7~ use construction methods and practices that wi~minimize flood damage; and (2) The Zoning Officer shall review subdivision proposals and other proposed new developments to assure that (i) all such proposals are consistent with the need to minimize floor damage, (ii) all public utilities and facilities, such as sewer, gas, electrical, and water systems are located, elevated and constructed to minimize or eliminate flood damage, and (iii) adequate drainage is provided so as to reduce exposure to flood hazards; and (3) That the Zoning Officer shall require new or replace- ment water supply systems and/or sanitary sewage systems to be designed to minimize or eliminate infiltration of flood waters into the systems and discharges from the systems into flood waters, and require on-site waste disposal systems to be located so as to avoid impairment of them or contamination from them during flooding. Communications: Mr. Cox read a letter from Ruby Danielson offering ~ghe Bulen property for sale to the City. Mro Albert has offered to meet with anyone from the City of Ramsey regarding property for municipal buildings. It was suggested the Council sit down and review this matter. We received a letter from Mr. Schmidt of the State Bank of Anoka regarding the sign bearing their ad on Highway #&7 north of the City Hall which is in a very dilapidated conditions. This sign is no longer theirs and they suggested we contact the property owner to find the owner of the sign and then we could ask them to remove it. In view of the fact that it is past eleven o'clock and the agenda is not finished, we will meet next Monday, May 5th, at 7:30 p.m. here at the school.
