RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />CO~TY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, alternative locations for a needed crossing <br />of the Rum River in the southeastern area of the City of Ramsey <br />connecting with the City of Anoka and County State Aid Highway <br />#7 have been examined by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, County transportation plans indicate the need <br />for a transportation facility in this general location in the <br />future, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of <br />Ramsey and the other affected communities to develop an exact <br />location for this facility as soon as possible in order to <br />provide for orderly development in the vicinity, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is important that the affected conwaunities <br />and the County agree upon a location for such a facility, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Engineer has presented <br />alternative for the location of the subject bridge and connecting <br />routes thereto within the City of Ramsey, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, studies and discussions among the engineers <br />of the affected communities indicates general agreement on a <br />bridge location and potential connections thereto. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Ramsey <br />respectfully urges the Anoka County Board and the Anoka City <br />Commission to review and agree upon a bridge location and connections <br />therefor for planning purposes in conformance with Alternate #1 <br />as illustrated on the attached map. <br /> <br />Adopted this 31st day of July 1975. <br />Clerk-Treasurer <br /> <br /> <br />
