Mr. Micko]son seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Carson asked the City Council to review the sketch plan at this <br />meeting. The Council agreed to consider the sketch plan at the regular <br />meeting on August 11. Mr. Carson was advised to contact the City <br />Attorney to insure that legal notice of the public hearing was <br />accomplished within the required time period. <br /> <br />Industrial Park Centerline Matter: <br /> <br />Thc City En~,,"ineer submitted a letter to the Council outlining alternative <br />method.~ of Financin~ a location study for a route extending from the <br />i. nt~rsection of Sunfish Lake Boulevard and Industry Boulevard diagonally <br />to CSAIt #55 at thc intersections of Sections 21, 22, 27 and 28. Mr. Reimann seconded the motion; motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Industry Boulevard and Rum River Bridge Location: <br /> <br /> The Council discussed the need to develop a formal policy for trans- <br /> mJttal to Anoka County and the City of Anoka as a basis for developing <br /> agreement upon the location of a future Rum River bridge crossing in <br /> the southeast portion of the City of Ramsey, and a connection to such <br /> a crossinff involving realignment of Industry Boulevard (CSAH #57) in <br /> the area of its intersection with Trunk Highway #47. Councilman Gorham <br />/~oved adoption of the following Resolution and transmittal of the <br /> Resolution to the Anoka City Commission and the Anoka County Board' <br /> <br />WtIEREAS, alternative locations for a needed crossing of the <br />Rum River in the southeastern area of the City of Ramsey <br />connecting with the City of Anoka and County State Aid Highway <br />#7 have been examined by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, County transportaiton plans indicate the need for <br />a tran~;portation facility in this. general location in the future, and <br /> <br />WJfl,iRI,iAS, il; i.~4 :in the best interest of the City of Ramsey and the <br />oth~:r al'f'cctcd communities to develop an exact location for this <br />Far:i liLy as soon az possible in order to provide for orderly <br /> <br /> <br />
