RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CRE:~TION CF ~ HOS~IT.~L DISTRICT Anoka BE IT ,tEoOLVED by the To~ Boarl County, Minnesota, as follows: of the To~aship of Ramsay 1. A hospital district is hereby authorized to be'created pursuant to Laws 1959, Chapter 570, comprising the territory of the City of Anoka, Minnesota, and each of the following additional municipal corporations: Towaship of Grow, A~oka County; Township of ~Oak Grove, Anoka County; Town~hip of Rain,eye, Anoka ~ Township of Burma, Anoka County; Township ~f Champli~, Hennepmm County;~ge of Cham~lin, Hennepin ~-~y; VLllage of Elk River, Sh&~bur~ County; Township of Elk River,~Sher~urne County. for the purpose of the acquisition, betterment, operation, m~intenance and adminis- tration of such hospital and nursing home facilities ss the hospital board of such district sh~ll determine in accordance with said Chapter 570 to be necessary and expedient. 2. The Clerk is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published 'forthwith in the official newspaper, and this resolution shell become effective forty d~ys after such publication, unless within said period a petition shall be filed with this Boarl , signed by qualified electors of the Twp equal in number to 5% of the number of such electors voting at the last 'preceding election of officers, re- questing a referendum on this resolution; in which c~se it shall not become effective until approved by a majority of such qualified electors voting thereon at an election called for that purpose. 3. Said hospital district shall be deemed duly crested after adoption of a resolution authorizing the same by the governing body of each of the municipal cor- porations listed in paragraph l, by s vote of two-thirds of the members elect of such body, and after the effective date of the lest resolution so adopted.
