RESOLUTION ~fl~ <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the City of Ramsey hired Donald E. V. Walker ' <br /> <br />as Ad~in~.istrative Assistant on September 1, 1975 and subsequent <br />thereto the Ramsey City Council designated Mr. Walker to serve as <br />Clerk-Treasurer concurrent with the Administrative' Assistant position <br />and <br /> <br /> WttEREAS, at the commencement of his employment Mr. Walker was <br />placed on a six-month probationary status and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 23, 1976, the Council's personnel <br /> <br />committee recommended that Mr. Walker's probationary status oe extended <br />to July 1, 1976, which recommendation the City Council adopted at <br />its February 23, 1976, meeting, and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS~~the personnel committee recommended in a repor't <br /> <br />dated June 24, 1976, that Mr. Walker be given a public hearing in <br />front of the entire City Council concerning his permanent employment <br />status and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such a public hearing was held by the City Council <br /> <br />on July 8, 1976, at which time each member of the City Council, <br />Mr. Wall<er and members of the public so desiring were given an <br />opportunity ~o be heard concerning Mr. Walker's permanent employment <br />status and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council made no decision on Mr. Walker's <br />employmen~c status at the July 8, 1976-i meeting and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a meeting on July 15, 1976, <br /> <br />for the purpose of making a decision on ~,lr. Walker's employment <br /> <br /> <br />
