status at which meeting the majority of the City Council determined <br /> <br />that Mr. Walker would not be given permanent employment status with <br />tile City of Ramsey and that ~is probationary status with the City <br />of R~s-~y would continue until September 15, 1976, at which time <br /> <br />Mr. Walker's employment with the City of Ramsey as Administrative <br /> <br />Assistant would cease and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the City Council's policy to have the position <br />of Administrative Assistant filled by the same individual who is <br /> <br />appointed Clerk-Treasurer and <br /> <br /> W[.IHREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it has the <br />lawful authority to dismiss probationary status employees without <br /> <br />cause~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council makes tile follo%~ing finding~ of <br /> <br />fact notwithstanding that Mr. Walker is' 'still on a probatio.~ary status: <br /> <br />1. Mr. Walker has not followed through with the City <br /> <br />Council's assigned~sk as directed, more specifically, <br /> <br /> a) Failure to utilize supportive administrative <br /> staff as directed by the City Council concerning <br /> Land Fill negotiations with the City of Anoka, <br /> <br />b) Failure ~o cause the rubbish on the Rudy Peterson <br /> property to be properly disposed of~ <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Failure to prepare and forward 'to Council members <br />the minutes of the council meetings shortly after <br />each Council Meeting as directed by the City Council. <br /> <br />Failure to attend some Pgrks-C0mmission meetings <br />as the City Council's liaison, as directed by <br />%he City Council. <br /> <br />· -e) <br /> <br />Failure to establish personnel regulations and <br />policies as Mr. Walker said he would in early <br />January, 1976, and as discussed by the Personnel <br />Committee at its January 14, 1976~ meeting and a~ <br />subsequent personnel committee meetings. <br /> <br /> <br />
