Re_sOl Ut~on ~'#17

STATE OF MINNESOTA

COUNTY OF ANOKA

TO: VIRGIL JOHNSON

CITY OF R~ISEY

ORDER TO REMOVE
HAZARDOUS BUILDINGS

Whereas, the Ramsey City Council, through its building
inspector, has been made aware of hazardous buildings located at
157th Avenue N.W. and Armstrong Boulevard in the City of Ramsey
and legally described as:

Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 20, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County,
'; ~innesota, except part platted as Whispering
Pines Estates

and

Whereas, the following findings of fact are made concerning
that property:

1. The premises are unoccupied.

2. Sections of the concrete in both the barn and residence
are decayed and rotted and part of the foundation of the residence
has been removed from under it and approximately one-third of the
house and the main floor is caving into the basement.

3. The exterior siding on the gray residence building is
badly deteriorated and fallen from place.

4. The roof is rotted and there is evidence of much water
damage in the attic and much dry rot has occurred in and about the
attic of the residence.

S. None of the window glass in the window openings exist,
apparently having been vandalized, and the window sills have become
ruined because of dry rot.

6. The plumbing in the residence building is antiquated and
has been vandalized such that it is almost non-existent and the
heating system is also in the same condition.

7. There is no chimney on the residence building.
