RESOLUTION NO. 28 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1976 Minnesota Legislature enacted Chapter 132 of Laws, <br />1976, which puts a freeze on voting precinct boundaries within municipal limits <br />from January 1, 1977 to January 1, 1982, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council recognizes the necessity of an <br />additional voting precinct within the City because of past and anticipated <br />growth in the City's population, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an official City map, dated December 13, 1976, showing clearly <br />recognizable features as boundary lines to designate three voting precincts within <br />the City has been prepared and is on file in the City Clerk's office at Ramsey City <br />Hall, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Ramsey City Council recognizes the <br />above mentioned City map, as the official map, for purposes of designation of <br />three voting precincts within the City and hereby directs the City Clerk to notify <br />the State Demographer, Hazel Reinhardt as required by Chapter 132 of Laws, 1976, <br />Minnesota Secretary of State's Office, Anoka County Auditor's Office and any other <br />appropriate agencies of these voting precincts. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey this 13th day of December 1976. <br /> ~ Mayor ~/ <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
