Chairperson Nixt stated this is a great opportunity for the city to harvest replacements for other <br />commissions. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to recommend the City <br />Council remove the Planning Commission position from the Environmental Task Force and <br />appoint another member of the community in their place. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer added that he does not want the Environmental Task Force to feel the <br />Planning Commission has no interest or concern in their issues because they all do. He stated if <br />it was not such a heavy time commitment several of them would volunteer. <br /> <br />Case #11 Zoning Bulletin <br /> <br />The Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br /> <br />OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon asked that they try to keep their calendars <br />open in February for a joint City Council and Planning Commission meeting. He indicated they <br />have several topics to discuss; one being the Town Center, the second is MUSA expansion. He <br />noted the City Council just finished a strategic planning session and this came up. He stated they <br />are looking at later in February or the first Tuesday in March. He indicated if they can get <br />everyone's participation it would be appreciated. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jeffrey noted he would be gone the last week of February and first few days of <br />March. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated he would be leaving March 4th for four days. He indicated his preference <br />would be to be here, but he wants to at least ensure there is a quorum. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Cormnissioners Brauer, Jeffrey, Shepherd, Van <br />Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None.
