I have been working on the miscellaneous permits I mentioned <br />in my last monthly report as time permits, and have completed about <br />one-half of them. I should have this completed by the end of the year. <br /> <br />The builders I encounter are optimistic and feel that 1984 will be a <br />better year than 1983. They feel that the housing market has been <br />depressed for so long that things have to improve. If things are better <br />next year, we should double our housing starts if we have municipal <br />services. <br /> <br />As I mentioned in a previous report, effective the first of the year, <br />my reports will reach you a month later so I can have the cut-off dates <br />for all reports correspond.
