I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE ~4: AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE NEW 1984 POLICE SQUAD CAR: <br /> <br />The Chief of Police has requested that the City purchase its 1984 police squad car <br />throuEb Hennepin County Purchasing which we are a part of. Please refer to enclosure <br />(DZ--e) for the Chief of Police's memo dated December 5, 1983, a copy of the City <br />purchase requisition dated November 29, 1983 which contains the price of said police <br />car and a proposed resolution. The Chief mentions in his memo that the bid was over <br />the 1984 budgeted amount for a police squad car replacement by approximately $1,050. <br />However, this should be recovered in the resale of the old squad. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of authorizing the purchase <br />of the police squad car.
