Ramsey should do the same. <br /> <br />Mr. ~chnelle stated that Ramsey should recommend the hiring of a planner- <br />type ~erson and also request from Council just exactly what the goals of <br />the Economic Development Co~mission are. Also request that the goals of <br />the Economic Development O~,~ission be published in the newspaper. <br /> <br />Case #4: .Cit~ Administrator's Staff Re~ort: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that he has been working on the State Aid Lawsuit -- <br />seeking monetary assistance from other cities. He further commented that <br />the League of Small Cities is researching several approaches to how this <br />law could become more equitable.and each time it is defeated. Ramsey has <br />been informed by Gregerson, Pauly and Lang that there is good case history <br />and Council authorized them to proceed. It has been decided that we need <br />an expert witness in the area of taxes, accounting firms and fiscal <br />consultants were interviewed and the firm of Deloitte, Haskins and Sells <br />was selected. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults dismissed himself at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Ramsey is spending a small fortune to get something <br />it should have. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Schmidt and seconded by Commissioner Miller to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Ramsey Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Greenberg, Commissioners Guy, Cox, Miller, <br />Schmidt and Muller. Voting No: None.
