Presently the City Code does not address <br />wood piles. <br /> <br />REVIEW OF PARAGRAPH l I0.0Z5 ENTITLED 'FIRING RANGES' OF SECTION <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />110.02 ENTITLED 'FIREARMS~ OF THE CITY CODE: <br /> <br />Police Chief Auspos has requested this paragraph be reviewed by the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission in regards to having it deleted from the City Code. At this <br />time he knows absolutely nothing about the regulations of firing ranges and feels <br />this is more in the area of zoning. <br /> <br />If in the future anyone wants to own and operate a firing range in Ramsey, it should <br />be taken through the conditional use process whereby it would be reviewed by your <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-d) contains the section from the City Code in regards to this. <br /> <br />Commission Action: Your action will be to direct Staff as to how you would like <br />us to proceed with this. <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Charter Commission is requesting all Ramsey Commission members <br />attend their regular meetings at the Ramsey Municipal Center. They meet on <br />every second and fourth Thursdays of each month. They are asking for your input <br />in the various chapters of the charter they are writing for Ramsey. <br /> <br />Please plan to attend their meetings, as this is a very important issue. <br /> <br />Enclosure (DZ-e) contains a draft of the proposed charter that has been drafted <br />as of September ZS, 1983. This is being sent to you for your information and review. <br /> <br /> <br />
